Corona virus
How are you today? You must be pleased So strong you’ve grown! They say your shape Is of a crown. Are you a king, Or royalty Just an ambition? On women’s day Meetings melt. You’ve tamed the throngs. Whoever in numbers meets Kisses your feet. Forgotten Syria, Its horrid war And refugees. Anxiety Has made its nest. The other eggs You have displaced. Devilish cuckoo Helpless we’ll help To hatch your eggs. You feed the shadows Of our lives. The flu we know We shrug our shoulders, We clean our nose. To you however we make allegiance. How many rituals We submit to Just to avoid Your sickening presence. No such gestures To wave away Our deadly cancers. Because of them No way we’ll change Our ways of life! Instead we, puppets, We wag our ends Without end To shun the end. Self-centered we stay. People may die Of hunger over there. The heck we care. This is all about us Our egos themselves Our general body! The essence of the clan We want to keep Preserved unharmed From foreign touch. Is it our fate to isolate? Will we still kiss If this goes on? Coronavirus, What a hit! How strong you’ve grown! You fill our lives You fill the news Oh holy shit!

Your speca were trodden on
Your coffee delayed Your usual worry to please Emerged and couldn't be calmed. The day is gone. The sunny weather didn't help. Some peace Some relief here. Up and down, .ittle worried sensitive soul, You were bumped, Shaken and hurled. Oh sweet, transient sigh in a corner of a pub after a fresh draught beer. I’ve just come across to my photo and video memories of March 2019. The series « Derek » showed Rick Gervais’s talent as an actor to the full. The tone is sometimes cynical, especially towards some people’s self-centredness expressed in the extract below. Series on Netflix: https://www.netflix.com/title/70258489?s=i&trkid=13747225 I’ve also checked on his show called « Humanity ». Very witty and what fun to improve my English, for example with the expression « scot-free »! https://www.netflix.com/title/80189653?s=i&trkid=13747225
My grandfather died up there in a tragic accident. He left a wife and six children. His name is nowhere to see there.
Is life like a cup of coffee?
When you start tasting it It’s a surprise. You take it for granted. Nothing special about it. Except it is Acute, concrete, Lively, strong, Vivid. When you reach The end of your cup, It’s got lukewarm. You feel more sugar, Which hasn’t dissolved, Waiting there at the bottom, Waiting for you, as it were. And you just realise Oh! My cup of coffee Is reaching an end soon. You come to terms With that. It’s not going to get cold Till you reach the bottom. So, in a way, You don’t worry too much. But there it is, The end of your cup. Still good. Strange You’re there. You’ve reached this point, This moment. And then, Who knows, Another day, Elsewhere, You’ll take another cup… Not on « Wordpress » like everyone
I have a weebly account for teachers which is very handy. There is also a weebly app which allows you to blog on the go, so why should this not be as interesting as a wordpress nlog?

Song based on a poem by Paul O’Mahony
I’ve created that short song. No voice accompaniment. Very intuitive creation. Of course a musician would expand on that, so that it doesn’t sound so trheadbare and melancholy!..
Paul O‘Mahony‘s post with the full poem is here: https://paulhomahony.com/2018/07/25/song-lyrics/
